Lori Kidd, MS

Clinical Director

Lori has worked in the behavioral health field for the last 15 years. She holds a Master of Science degree in Professional Counseling and is a Licensed Professional Counselor through the Arizona Board of Behavioral Health . Her additional credentials include being a Somatic Experiencing Practitioner, Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapist, and certified equine therapist through Equine Assisted Growth and Learning Association (EAGALA). Lori’s emphasis and expertise focuses on healing trauma as she believes that most addictions have a trauma component that has contributed to the onset and progression of the disease. She has been a part of A Sober Way Home for many years as a primary therapist, equine therapist, trauma therapist, and now serves as the clinical director.
